Time for Peaceful Protest

Detroit no longer has bus service at night. People in the town of Detroit can no longer get to the suburbs where their jobs are. Isn't working and making a living a basic right like voting?

The Governor talks about regional government, we have SEMCOG which controls billions of tax dollars with a board that is not elected. SEMCOG can not even begin to deliver a regional transportation system, how can we expect them to do anything else?

We have to rid transportation of government and set up a public utility, (like the old phone and electric companies), and let private operators run the vehicles in a region wide coordinated system.

The Superbowl is the perfect event to let government know how we feel. Peaceful protesters should pack the town center streets before the game to let the world know how bad the situation is.

Be there!
