Pick-Up Truck

This truck of mine is amazing. The headlights are very safe. I have to commend GM on this vehicle's ability to turn the lights off and on, in what seems to me, a random pattern.

I was driving down a tree shaded country lane, and as the truck light sensor was exposed to alternating sun and shade, the lights went off and then on, off again then on. Truly a technological marvel.

The lights do always come on before I start the truck; just when we need some cold cranking amps to light that 6 liter pup up. No matter, there are two batteries. I can, if I choose to, get out the operators Manual and look up how to disable this safety feature...but it must be disabled again after every restart. I think I have to hold down the work light button, while the key is in the lotus position, all while picking my nose.

Talking about safety though... $1100 for brakes. 47k miles and the ABS pump is shorted out too,(cost to replace $1200, not kidding). Yes, That's a total of $2300 American.

So. Let me see. I have lights that go on and off when the truck feels the need for continued safe operation of the vehicle but no ABS brakes. Oh well, I get some clacky gizmo stuff all the time, but when I need that truck to really perform, it just isn't up to the task.
